Now I only have one finished book that is yet to be published. It's nearly 100k words and first draft. So that's not going to happen. It's a fiction book about the Bible's last days.
I had a CT scan of my abdomen on the 20th of July. The concern was a partial bowel obstruction. But the contrast nearly killed me. Yesterday was the first day I've eaten anything except broth. Because I have kidney disease, I should not have been given contrast. It poisoned me, and my body has had a difficult time getting rid of that due to my advanced cancer. I am so weak and sick and praying that God will stop my suffering. I no longer care about making it to the Autumn. I just want to go home.
Sherlock Holmes and the Time Machine is a print and digital book at Amazon. I created the narrator voice for the Audiobook at Eleven Labs, and published that through In Audio. However, it can take upward of 30 days to populate. It will be at Spotify and several other audiobook sites, including Barnes and Noble. It is also a digital book through Draft2Digital. I hope I can create a print book there, but it feels like too much work for me right now.
Here is the description of Sherlock Holmes and the Time Machine:
She built the machine that broke time.
Now she must fix it before it destroys Sherlock Holmes.
When she awakens in a stranger’s mansion, stitched together from a train wreck and memory loss, she is told only this: she is the new housekeeper at Blackthorn Manor, home to the legendary Sherlock Holmes. But the manor hums like a living thing. Locked rooms shift, mirrors whisper, and beneath the floors something mechanical dreams.
As fragments of her former life surface, a laboratory, a forbidden invention, and the name Moriarty, she begins to suspect she was never a servant at all but the scientist who created the very device that hurled them all into the future. Now she must recover her lost genius before the house’s heart stops beating, and before love, or history, unravels them both.
A science fiction fantasy of memory and second chances. Sherlock Holmes and the Time Machine re-imagines the world’s greatest detective at the edge of reason…and the woman who holds time itself in her hands.
