My Article at The Examiner

Hello, I was contacted by The Seattle Examiner a few weeks ago and asked to write an article. That's been published now. You can see it at this link: http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-31460-Seattle-Writing-Careers-Examiner~y2010m1d17-Doralynn-Kennedy-talks-about-novel-sentences-and-her-own-writing-skeletons#

I hope you'll take a look.

Also, I have some additional upcoming contests to announce. I'm running a contest at Coffee Time Romance during the month of February. I also have a contest coming up at LASR in February. I'll post more about those shortly. The gifts will be pretty good ones, so check back soon to find out more details.

One more thing, I changed my template, and I lost a lot of my information. I had backed up my old template, but when I reverted to it, some of the information was still gone. Breaks my heart. My apologies to those blogs I was following. The blog roll at the bottom of my home page was one of the casualties of my experiment. I'll work on getting that back up shortly.

Thanks,
Doralynn

Hi Ann, I love gift certificate's to Amazon. I have the two contests coming up, and I'm going to be giving away gift certificates to Amazon and Barnes and Noble. That was a nice gift. Thank you for adding my book to your cart with it! Doralynn

Computers are such an aid to communication
yet they can also be the source of much pain!
In the blink of an eye you can find you have lost so much information, such as you are experiencing at this time. If I run into any problems, I yell for Honey. He is our resident computer "geek." I don't know what I'd do without him!!

Hi Pat, computers are a pain. My recent computer failure was almost a blessing in disguise though. It got me off the computer. Now I don't spend as much time online, and I get a lot more done. It's so great to have a computer 'geek' to call on. For me, my computer whiz is my dad. Thanks for the comment. You're now entered in this month's contest. Best wishes in the drawing. Doralynn

What a nice article. It must be thrilling to be contacted to write something like that.
